I found it, and i liked it.

Studio Time

I was on the way to Popley, and i have never been there since ive lived in basingstoke for ages. but I didnt know the bus numbers but I spoke to this woman for help, she was brilliant. When she asked where I was going to university she said she was from Wales, (where im going). She lives in Popley and has a great zest for life. 

I did ask for her photo but she kindly rejected however it was a good old conversation we had. 

I did get some shots I took later on titled 'Studio time' a project id like to carry on, ill post my favourite 3, but you can view them all on my flickr set 'Studio time'.

These were my favorite ones.

I took some photos of my English language teacher. He is one of the most intelligent people ive known, theres not a thing he couldnt know, well i guess so.

He spoke of intelligence and asked me of my influences as a photographer, he recognised Eugene Richards and was familiar with Dorchester Days.

He shoots with film and uses an Olympus.

I like film too.

a new blog

this is my second account, and i don't really know how to use this but thought i may as well keep it going. 

Last saturday I went to the pub with my dad and sister, I took along my pentax and thought I could get some shots using some out of date film my dad found. it was from 2004, woah.

They came out well, bit of fun. My dad took a photo of me I particularly liked, even though I dont like my photo taken.

Atmospheric

Looking through my old photos I found some photos which are personal to me and a project of mine I have carried out. It represents a time where I have had to face people I do not know and approach them. Being in quite an intimidating situation has helped improve my confidence hence why these photos are important to me as a photographer. It also symbolizes the first time I had my work published in the newspaper.
